1.    NARATIVE
·         Schematic : Orientation, Major Complication, Resolution
·         Linguistic Features: Past tense

2.    GIVING ADVICE AND SUGGESTION
Here are some expression of giving advice.
“ If I were you, I would…”
“Have you thought about …”
“You really ought to …”
“Why don’t you …”
“In your position,I would …”
“You should perhaps …”
“You could always ..”
Ex :
-I’m always tired ?
-You need to eat all your food.
Why don’t you pull over?
-We could create more programs.                            
3.    Report
v  Report is a text which present information about something in general from the result of systematic observation and nalysis.
v  Function of report text is presenting or describing about something generally from the result of observation and analysis.
v  Schematic structure of report :
·         General Classification : tell what the phenomenon under discussion is.
·         Desciption : tells what the phenomenon under discussion is like interm of parts ( and their function ) qudities, habits or behaviors, if living, uses, if nonnarutal.

4.    Expressing Satisfaction and Disatifaction
·         Satisfaction is a pleasant feeling which you get when you receive something you wanted.
·         Disatifaction is unpleasant feeling in your complaint when you get something that is not wanted to do when you get something that is not wanted to do.

5.     Asking For Permission
·         Is used to express asking for permission to do or borrow something.
·         Asking for permission :

ü  Would you mind …?
ü  Is it all right …?
ü  Is it okay ...?
Example :
1.    Can I go out ?
2.    May I open the window?
3.    Please, can I have a look at your photo album ?
4.    Would you mind if I asked you something ?
5.    Is it okay if I sit here?
·      Giving permission :
1.       Of couse.
2.       Yes, certainly.
3.       Yes, that’s fine.
4.       Yes, that’s all right.
5.       Yes, sure.
6.       Okay.

·      Refusing permission :
1)      I’m afraid you can’t.
2)      Sorry,…
3)      I’m afraid not.
4)      I’m sorry it’s not allowed.
5)      Sorry, no one is permitted.
Example :
Mrs. Iwan : Oh, hello, Mrs.Agam. Could I use your telephone for a minute?
Mrs.Agam: All right.
Mrs. Irwan : Thank you. And is that this morning’s paper ?
Mrs.Agam : Yes, it is.
Mrs. Irwan : May I borrow it?
Mrs.Agam : Sorry, I haven’t finished reading it yet.
Mrs.Irwan : Oh, I see. It doesn’t matter.

6.    Analytical Exposition Text
·         Analytical Exposition Text : A text that elaborates the writer’s idea about the phenomenon surroundly.
·         Tujuan : To persuade the reader that the idea is important matter.
·         Struktur Kebahasaan Analytical Exposition :
1.    Thesis : introduce topic and indicates writer’s position.
2.    Argument : restates main argument outlined in preview and develops or supports each point/argument.
3.    Reiteration : restates writer’s position.
